wot is a turbo timer and does it improve performance if so buy how much and is there ne cheap ways 2 improve performance

l can tell you ,,what it does,,but l wont show a web site for it this is what are for,,it times the amount of time before a turbo kicks in,,and out on a vehicle,,and es it can help improve performance ,because it wait till its needed to come in,,and also times the amount of time it stays on instead of doing this randomly,,this does help improve performance a lot,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

This is an after market accessory that ur can fit to ur vehicle with the idea being it allows time for the turbo to cool down to a safe temperature before switching off the engine, this timer is adjustable & will keep the engine running for the preset time even after u have switched off the engine & even left the vehicle that is because the turbo runs at very high temperatures & is cooled & lubricated by the engine oil circulating thru it. So that if u had just completed a high speed journey & quickly shut down the engine the turbo would have had insufficient time to have dissipated any excess heat & damage to the bearings & warping of the housing could occur. l find it interesting that if a timer is such an important feature why do not the manufactures fit it as standard equipment after all they have to carry the warranty, but l would stress that frequent oil changes using a high quality oil is a must otherwise the repairs r expensive. & finally no it does not improve performance, l think that is self evident.
