It make is the Skoda Octavia an unbeatable all-rounder.

Engine speaks for itself. Very good.

First Octavia produced with virtually no wind noise. This is a recommendable vehicle.

Overall a hit.

Psst, keep this under your hat, it is a VW with slightly different switchgear that is actually more than capble of showing the Passat / Jetta cousins a very clean pair of heels for a lot less money.

If you like the VRs, also take a look at the Leon, same VAG engine, similar low price and shares many traits.
