Superb is quite good.

It was voted the ''best'' from a certain point of view, in that it is the safest (5 stars in crash-impact testing) and with an incredible amount of miles to the gallon, is one of the most efficient.

But we all know that those qualities do not make it a ''good'' car ;)

These cars r built under strict build quality as set by Volkswagon. On occasions it has been reported that Skoda is build quality is better than its owners.

The cars r reasonably priced as they r built in a country with lower wage outlay, & the Fabia is a very reasonable all rounder with good reliability & the diesel engine fron VW.
The Scoda crash testing has been succesful too, & Euro ncap report good results.

It is important to note that the Octavia & the Superb r very similar mechanicaly to the Passat, which is more expensive. The Skoda often suffers from a lower spec level, & may not have some extras, & often has lower quality plastics inside.

It was not voted the best car, it was voted the best value for money car.
In other words people who bought one were impressed by how well it performed considering how much they paid for it. Obviously there are much better cars around but you have to pay a lot more money.
Interestingly bottom of the survey was Mercedes, as people are shelling out loads of money for them but they are not living up to their expectations. Sadly they are not what they used to be.

l love our skoda!!!!!!!! it is a octavia estate looks good and fits in the entire family and dog. back off you car snobs!

l do not know when its obviously not. there are so many other cars that are better value for money and better build quality.
