we have had this question a few times now and the answer is yes it was real and once filmed it was then dished out to certain charities hope this helps ...and it was all edible .

Yes it is, it took 3 months to make and cost £40,000 not £125,000.

Yes everything was made properly and not sure if they ate it though, mind you l wouldnt want to after everyone had been touching it.

Yes it was. It was made by a company in Northfleet Kent and was turned into compost after as it took a number of days to make and would not have been fit for human consumption.

Yes it is really made of cake it was made by a company in swanscombe in kent . after it was made it was destroyed due to being unfit to eat after because of the heat of the lighting in the studio
