My guess is re-introduce the schwimmwagen. This was a special volkswagen that was made for the wermacht in WW2.It was a volkswagen chassis that was made into a boat. It could be driven on land or in the water. Now that Skoda is making cars designed by employees of volkswagen (actually the audi/auto union design team) They could find the old schwimmwagen blueprints and probably make a modern version with fibreglass and various old VW beetle parts they still make in South America. This vehicle could be sold as a boat, so it would'nt have to meet U.S. safety and emissions reg.s I am pretty sure that they could buy licence plates from Mexico, and the cops would have to let you drive it on the street because of fine print in the NAFTA treaty.

Skodas may have been designed by checks in the past, but the cars they make now are all designed by Porsche engineers, as are VWs and audis. l think the cars Skoda is making now, will be quite popular in the Czeck home market. But in the American market, VW has a hard time selling all the Mexican made VWs on their lots, so they have no desire to bring in another car that would compete the VWs. Therefore they need an amphibious car, because there is so much unfulfilled demand for such a thing

Skodas r part of the VW group, but their designs come from Czech designers. Yes they use many Audi VW parts & power trains. Since Czech were occupied by the Germans in WW2 l doubt there would be much of an appetite to produce a German military vehicle replica.
Once again Skoda uses their own designs, they have a German CEO but the design team is Czech & based in Mlada Boleslav. The Czechs did not join Germany in WW2 but were annexed after Britain & France decided not to honor their treaty with Czechs & come to their aid, Czechs had enough to fight for maximum 3 weeks so without outside help fighting would have been suicide.
