Now that there is high demand for high MPG cars, is this the time for Skoda to try entering the US market

Never heard of this car. Why have not they entered the US market before? Do you know?

Now is as good a time as any

1. ALL engines* that r used in Skodas r VW engines found in other VW & Audi cars. The same applies to the chassis & suspensions.

For example, Audi TT, Audi A3, VW Golf, Rabit, Jetta, Beatle, Skoda Octavia, Seat Leon use
same chassis
same engines
same transmissions
Mind, there r much more engines available for those models in Europe than in the USA.

So there is really no point in bringing Skoda to the USA if VW is there.

2. High MPG only applies to diesel engines.

*the only exception is 40 years old OHV engine equipped with fuel injection.
